Dr. Willie E. Caison, Sr., Pastor
A native of Orlando, Florida. He completed his primary education in the Orange County Public School. He is a 1989 graduate of Maynard Evans High School, Orlando, FL.
After graduation he went on to start his post-secondary studies at Valencia Community College earning his associate degree in business. He attended the St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Orlando and served under the leadership of the late Reverend Dr. Fred L. Maxwell. He was called to the Ministry which resulted in the continuation of his education at the United Bible College, in Orlando, Sword Theological and Grace Christian Theological Seminary in Lubbock, TX. It was at these three Seminaries, he completed his Bachelor of Theology, Master's, and Doctor of Ministry. He is a passionate, articulate and energetic pastor with upwards of 25 years of relevant experience and related education. 25 years in ministry. A dynamic speaker who possesses a keen ability to preach and energize a congregation all while fulfilling pastoral care responsibilities.
He is highly proficient in developing and leading comprehensive ministry programs, focusing on the belief system of people to whom he is working with. Over the course of his spiritual career, he has served as Youth Pastor of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Orlando. He served as Senior Pastor of the St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church in Archer, Florida. Prior to that he was serving as pastor of the New Macedonia Baptist Church of Gainesville where in the year 2017 they merged with St. Joseph in Archer. It was in March of 2023, he was summoned by God and accepted by the people to pastor the Pleasant View Baptist Church of Apopka. He succeeded the Late Dr. Michael Dwight Warren, who was a stellar candidate for the office of the 2024 President of the Florida General Baptist Convention, Inc. Dr. Warren saw leadership traits unimaginable in this young man and chose him to be his "campaign manager" for this presidential race. It would be God called Dr. Warren home to rest and reward before the election took place. God is still in the blessing business!
He also serves as Moderator of the Bethel Baptist Association. He is the Assistant Director of Concession for the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. He is intricately involved in his community. A pastor, visionary, spiritual advisor, and a businessman. A husband, father, a friend, a family man. He is married to the lovely Deandra D. (19 years). The father of 6 boys, two girls and five grandchildren. He has a passion for God's people, and he is a man called by God, led by God and covered by God. God be praised! Hear ye Him!
